It depends on the design and who does them. I only pay $30 for mine cause the girl that braids my hair doesn't have her license but she does a great job. But the africans that braid hair always charge more, like $75-$80. It would be best to find someone that braids out of their house, it will be a lot cheaper.

By a friend, between $30 - $60 and professionally $50 - $200

it all depends on your location. I am in Michigan and I used to pay around $60 to get mine done. That is a little on the high side.
