To see your abs, you must get your body fat percentage below 10%. This involves building muscle, losing fat and eating right.

Going to the gym 3 / time week probably nets you about 500 - 600 calories reduction per week. Not a whole heck of a lot.

I recommend upping your fitness level, fixing your diet (there are tricks to removing body fat, including removal of fat, refined sugars / flour), and an increase in protein consumption.

I'd start out by getting your body fat measure to see how far off you are. Depending upon how far off you are, you may have to work at it for years (no joke).

Seeing your abs also might require you do remove salt from your diet, as your body's water level obscures them.

All in all, you need to provide more information about where you are at and what exactly you've been eating for me to make a better assessment.

you're taking a mass builder?? why? i thought the whole point was to lose the fat so your abs will show. bad idea....it's very tough to gain serious mass and trying to lose fat at the same time.

anyways, at 12.8% body fat (assuming it's accurate), you should be able to see some abs especially if you try to flex them. if you can't, then they just aren't strong/big enough and you need to train them like any other muscle group with crunches, etc. also doing lower back exercises should also help strengthen your core and bring out your abs. for them to be really visible, you need bodyfat in the single digits.

many bodybuilders say that abs are built in the kitchen. so if you really are eating very healthy, then keep doing it. you might want to throw in like 20-30 mins of cardio after your workouts. or do another day of 60 mins of cardio.

You are not doing the excercises right and wasting time and energy. Get a coach for tha abbs, then go to it.
