I don't want to kill them, just keep them OUT of my back yard. It's because of my dogs. My dogs can bite them and can get sick because of this.

It depends what kind of frog/ toad that you have. Most toads are terrible dangerous, however they put off a scent that normally repels dogs. If they are tree frogs they are harmless. You should probably call the vet in your area to distinguish the type of reptile and ask his opinion.

Frogs like to keep their skins moist, so maybe some salt on the ground would discourage them from visiting your yard.

You may want to try throwing some moth balls in your yard. They keep other critters out of my yard and the pets don't bother them either.

If you scatter small peices of salt-covered peanut butter, around your yard, this should help with the frogs. it works most of the time, but you might end up with a squirrel invasion. lol

but seriously, try it. it worked for my friend Kierstyn.
