Trinitarians say that Jesus is "God in flesh". There reply to "Then why did Jesus pray to God/Father...", usualy is "He needed to communicate with the Godhead"(something like that).

Does that sound kinda Alien to you? Jesus being the Alien and the Godhead being the Mothership.

Sometimes it ALL seems alien to me. I'm not sure any of the theories make sense to me. That is why you just have to believe & follow your heart.

Remember that Jesus had a human nature and a Divine nature ie He was God and man. As man he was subject to all the human weaknesses particularly doubts, fears, despair, confusion and disdappointment. It was these that led him to seek comfort and help from God the Father in Heaven. It is possible that he did not absolutely know exactly WHO he was and exactly what his mission was, right up to the end, which is why he had to pray so intensely in the Garden of Gethsemane just before his arrest.
Having said this, it is also clear that at times, possibly guided by the Spirit, everything was absolutely clear to him eg while he was being tempted by satan and when he was speaking to the Jewish leaders about himself and said " ....I came down from heaven....", or " ....The Father and I are one...."
It is not alien, but beyond human understanding. We are not meant to know everything, that is why God has given us the gift of faith. As Jesus said when the Apostles were questioning him, "....It is not for you to know times and dates....".
I hope this helps, but it is only my opinion.
God bless.
