you need to go to the doctor and get the tablet or liquid form of the anti-fungal medicine if the cream isn't working.

Remember that not only does the cream take forever to work you also have to sterilize clothes, bedsheets and carpet and furniture just like lice, oh and if you have pets you need to wash them in a ringworm treatment as well or you can become reinfected. We adopted an outside cat that had ringworm and she gave it to my kids it took about a month of cleaning and tinactin and creams to get it gone. I think I used a can of antibacterial/anti fungal Lysol a day lol. Make sure you also scrub your tub out daily with a bleach solution, especially if your kids still take baths instead of showers. One more thing that does help get it to go away faster is Iodine solution. I hope this helps.

LOL, it is very common, all you need is iodine, yep, simple as that, do you have a cat or dog or chicken? Those are the main carriers of ring worm, if so take them to the vet get it taken care of. The kids however, don't let them touch the ring worm, that is how it is spread, and constantly wash their bedding as you treat it.

i had ringworm when i was pregnant and i went and got anti-fungal cream at walmart...it says on the back its for ringworm. i would stick to the prescription you already have though.....when i had it the cream took forever to get rid of it...im thinking like 2 months for it to be gone and i still have a small scar where it was....it took close to a month to see any results from the cream and i put it on like 5 times a day and kept a bandaid over it to keep the cream from rubbing off (and so ppl couldnt see it)

i will agree with tinactin it took a week for my nephew. You also have to remember to that prescription creams take a while to penetrate the skin.
Neem oil
mix 1 tbsp neem oil with
4 oz. olive oil and apply 2 times a day

I alternated hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol when I had it. Saturate a cotton ball, press on area for a few minutes and alternate several times a day.

Go back to your doctor ask for different medication. Sometimes you get it from your pet. Does your pet have a bold spot? If so you need to treat your pet, too.
