Why do girls get easily tricked by car salespeople?

it's a chicken or egg question. Which came first, women getting duped, or women being targeted for duping? I personally know a lot about cars, as that is the only way to protect yourself. However, I still get people trying to put one over on me. And, when I call them out on it, the sale is generally over. Not because I walked away from it, but because they don't know how to deal with a woman calling them out. I will never buy a car from a dealer, unless it's Saturn, because they built their company on selling appropriately to women. And for the record. I've known more about cars than all of the men that I know (except the mechanics). So I don't think in general that men know MORE about cars than women do.

The fact of the matter is: It's not a sexest thing, more men are duped than women. It is though, a stupidity thing, the dumber you are, the more you pay. It takes no time at all to research a car on the internet and go to the dealer with a little knowledge.

Women usually want more excessories. they might want a moonroof or two doors instead of four. It is not only when buying cars do they get "tricked". Why are most things women buy more expensive than the same thing for a guy.

PERHAPS girls are more trusting or want to be, not all girls are. Are you talking about young girls or women in general. Its the whole thing about "Women from Mars and men from Venus"
Boys and girls are different in all ways and both have there strengths and weaknesses in different areas. Lot depends on how they are raised and brought up. Are they daddy's little girl or brought up ruff and tuff, there is a lot of things that mold people.

Because women are less confrontational than men in social situations, and less likely to challenge the salesman. Salesmen know this and exploit it to lead the woman into agreeing to things.
