Here's the skinny(haha). I'm living on campus this summer, since I got a couple of decent summer jobs. I'm saving up money to get a better computer, as well as have a little extra money for when school starts up again. So, I don't have a lot of money to spend on healthy meals. I'm also trying to lose about 15 pounds, mainly off my thighs and flubbery upper arms. I get lots of exercise, since one of my jobs involves me walking around the entire campus 3 times a week to clean off posterboards(fun...). Does anyone know of any healty meals I can make that don't cost a lot of money to get the ingredients for? BTW, I don't live close to a grocery store, so fruits and veggies are an occasional treat for me. I could get frozen stuff, but how healthy is it?

Fruits and vegetables (in quantities sufficient to live on anyway) are hardly an inexpensive alternative, these days, but celery is always cheap and with some salt makes a great snack or with peanut butter can be a meal.
I tend to eat smaller portions of what I really like, and hang the cost per pound ... I would rather have a 6 oz. sirloin than a pound of chuck, if you get my drift. I also avoid starches - potatoes, bread, carrots, yams and other things.
Frozen veggies are lower in nutrients than fresh (most have been heat treated before freezing) but are still a pretty good source of fiber and vitamins.
The key is to avoid "prepared" foods. The main ingredients in most prepared foods are - okay, not toxic - hardly healthy. If it is "convenient," you should avoid it.
Cheers.

Fruits and vegetables are a key to good health. A successful diet plan needs these. You MUST include them in a healthy diet plan.

Frozen vegetables are fantastic. Some of the frozen dinners aren't bad either. They are low in calories. However, I'd urge you to take a look the fat / sodium content. They can be wicked on your arteries.

It sounds like you are getting a fair amount of exercise. Walking is fine, but it's not a metabolism-boosting as say running / lifting heavy things. It's a promising start, but not the end-all in your weight loss plans. Be sure that you are taking the stairs whenever possible as that'll building strength and get your heart rate elevated.

It sounds like you are doing a fairly decent job at losing weight but I'd like you to eat more fiber, include vegetables in your diet whenever possible, and get exercise that makes you break a sweat.

Good luck.

Or you might simply take a look at sending on your resume greater than as soon as,I heard that works for a few. take a look at following up together with your resumes too, like ready a couple of days then calling in. Also take a look at deciding while any person is hiring. maybe there can be a few spots commencing up later in the summertime.
