I respect you all who have answered my question even those people who have different answers?
I am a very religious muslim and i'm sorry if anybody doesn't like my question. I just had confussion that once i heard the same question by someone on TV and Dr. Zakir answered that he will support that person who has destroyed the statue because muhammad(P.B.U.H) statue making in Islam is forbidden and i want your answers to make this clear.

As salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah.

Insha'Allah, the answer is simple. By definition, a Muslim leaves Islam when he worships anyone or anything other than Allah. So, the answer is that he is no longer a Muslim once he worships a statue (of anything). We're not allowed to worship MUHAMMAD himself, let alone a statue of him. :)

And, so of course, no, we cannot support that individual who made the statue in any sense.

I agree whole-heartedly with dr.zakir

If a muslim makes statue of Prophet p.b.u.h. than it will be idol worshipping. Islam is against that. In the first place, there shouldn't be any staatue; if there is, I'll support ANYONE who breaks it. Be it a muslim or non-muslim

No I would not defend that person: I do not agree with Islam,or the teachings of the Quran, but destroying a statue of Muhammad would make that person just as bad as the Muslims who burn down Christian Churches, and kill non Muslims in the name of Allah. No I do not agree with that type of behavior

Yes, i will support that non-muslim too because in Islam making statues are prohibited. If Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) was alive and saw that statue he will not only destroy the statue but also he would punish that person who made that statue.

a muslim would not make the statue, it is against their religion's laws. Though if it was not and someone broke it I would stand up for the muslim, unless the christian is willing to allow the muslim to break their religious statues.

first .... in islam it is haram to make any figures cuz God is really gonna ask u to give it life on the day of judgement ...... muslim doing such a thing .... is not a true muslim .... the muslim shuld be taught a lesson abt right and wrong ........ and thuz breaking the statue has no realmeanings as it is allowed in islam ........ for demolishing statues or idol........... is allowed in islam ...so a staute doesnt show that it is the real person ..it is only our assumption ........

If you had even a basic understanding of the Islamic religion, you would know that a Muslim would never make a statue of Muhammed, so your questionis pointless.
