The question I'd like to ask you is: "What's the rush?" It took you at least 9 months to add the baby-weight and now you want to lose it all in 30 days. Don't you think that's a bit tough on yourself?

Successful weight loss takes time. It's not something you do for 30 days and then give up on it. It's a lifestyle change that involves healthy eating and a sensible fitness plan. The by-product, of which, is weight loss and fitness.

I'd urge you to become knowledge about fitness / diet. This means reading magazines or purchasing a book at the book store. I am not a big fan of exclusion diets (diets that exclude certain foods or food groups). They are short term solutions to long-term problems. Magazines such as Women's Health, Shape and Fitness are repubtable and offer quality advice.

You may want to consider joining Weight Watchers. Friends have had a large amount of success with them.

Ultimately, use a tool like http://www.fitday.com to monitor what you eat and record your physical activity. Grab a jogging stroller and take your child on a run. Get moving -- anything that requires your heart rate to become elevated will ultimately result in better fitness, a healthy feeling and weight loss. My rule of thumb is that if you don't need a shower when you are done wasn't a workout.

If you have further questions, feel free to drop me a line, but hopefully I've provided some good starting advice.

Good luck.

exercise and a healthy diet. 15 lbs in 30 days is a little much. 1-2 lbs a week is a healthy amount of weight to lose. If you only lose 8 lbs in 4 weeks, don't stress that it isn't the 15 that you wanted to lose, but be proud of yourself, 8 lbs makes a huge difference.
Don't do anything drastic to lose, a large amount of people who do the fad diets to lose a lot fast, gain it back plus some.
make sure you get your cardio in! Good luck.,

You can do it with water fast, but why such horrible solution? You can't afford it because of responsibilities. Therefore don't haste do it slowly but firmly.
Take a glass of warm water and exercise preferably at morning.
Avoid spicy and fatty foods. Add sprouts and salads to your meals. Avoid cold foods and minimise carbohydrates as well as teas.

Just try to eat less and move more....but don't expect to lose all of it in just 30 days. It might ( and probably will) take a bit longer, but don't be impatient and just stick to it.
