what can you do if u lost the serial # for a program that you buy and install?

ok, if you lost it you'll have to buy another copy.

however, I never do that, I just search the name of the program + serial number on google.com,

and when I can't find it, I ask for it on the forums.

Most often if you contact the manufacturer and send them a scan or photo of the original cd and the first page of the manual they will send a replacement.

contact their technical support by phone or online, give them prof of purchase, and they will give it to you, or a new one
