nicolle8981, I didn't instantly see that was a joke and was a bit horrified. That doesn't happen very often. Good one!

True Story: When I was pregnant I thawed some hamburger in the oven (which was a tiny bit warm because heat came in from the apartment next to us) because I was being lazy and had a crappy microwave that didnt thaw hamburger well at all and I was in a hurry 'cause I was really hungry. Like the airhead that I was my whole pregnancy, I forgot about it and left in in there from evening until the next morning. When we smelled something God-aweful and couldnt figure out what it was. I cleaned all the huge pile of dishes and took out all the trash and my husband found it a day later and was really pissed at me. the plastic wrap was bulging almost to bursting.
I was really hungry so I ate it anyways. Well, I'm still alive, but I'm sorry to say my fetus didnt make it.
So I think you should be just fine unless you're pregnant.

Cook it up. It can't be any worse than the road kill we eat. I also have a firm belief that a little botulism won't hurt anyone. It cleans out the intestines and leaves you with that 'just reamed' feeling that is, oh so fine.
Meatloaf anyone?

chef for living-smell it-if you get a sour smell it is gone and all the cooking in the world wont remove that-if no sour smell cook it to a well done no pink what so ever all night gives bactaria a long time to grow and you want to be sure to kill that off before serving-lots of love old hippie

Look at the color and smell it. You'll know if it is spoiled or not. Just remember don't take any chances. It's better to be safe than sorry. It's only a couple of bucks and it's not worth getting sick over.

I have some cottage cheese to go with it. It'll be hard getting it out of the milk jug someone put it in. Hamburger is always best med. rare though. So don't overdo it.

Eat up. While you're waiting for it to cook, grab a micro-brew and then lather up with petroleum jelly to work on your tan. Or you could work on cleaning your house, cuz there's no way you'll get state assistance.

I know they say not to but that`s how I always thaw mine but I do it during the day.I would say if it was still in the early morning hrs. and if it was still cold or cool to the touch then chances are it`s o.k. but if in dough don`t use it because it could give someone food poising and that is bad really bad in children.

I think it will either kill you, or make you wish you were dead. Take your pick. Do you have any idea how much bacteria is in that thing? And yeah, cooking will kill the bacteria, but the poison byproducts are still in the meat.

THROW IT OUT!!!!!

Depends on where you live, I have done it in the winter and had no problem. In fact if you stick your nose next to it you will know.
