dont get your hopes up.
if your not going to see him agian then just get over this crush.
there is no hope for the two of you unless you want to see each other over the internet with a webcam and instant message each other everyday
well its not going to work get over it while you can

we used to call them summer flings.If u are mature enough to handle the fact that u may never see them again go for it it will be a very memorable exprience trust me i know later inlife a smell or a song will remind u of that wonderful summer when u were the happiest of all

just be friends and then remain penpals...email each other when you move, write letters, send postcards, visit each other...who knows, you might end up getting married in the future, but don't mess it up before it can be good...be friends..
