I don't think people think sex is necessarily disgusting. I think it's perhaps how sex can be portrayed sometimes. It's all over the net, the TV, it's selling products in our stores etc etc.
There are people who view sex as an intimate thing between two people who love each other. There are those who believe it's a fun thing to do when you're bored, and then there's those to whom sex is a profession..The list goes on and on as I'm sure you can imagine.
Each person will have their own personal opinion on the matter due to the sensitivity of the subject. Other factors come into play which can predispose someone to a certain way of thinking such as religion, family, peer group etc etc, but what is resounding in this is when it comes to something as personal as your body, generally feelings run high and tact flies out the window, and due to the nature of this, people can also be easily offended.
However, lets not get bogged down in this... Whatever you're point of view, it is important to remember that it is just that - you're point of view. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but what people are not entitled to, is to enforce that opinion on another. So, as long as you're happy with what you're doing and you're not hurting anyone else, don't worry about what others may think of the matter.. Be happy and enjoy your sex life.

It can be on occasion. There are appropriate times and places, and then the rest is personal preference - some very modest people may think experimenting with positions IS disgusting. Some people have been assaulted or abused and so want nothing to do with that act ever again. You can't really know what's going on in people's heads, so cut them some slack and agree to disagree.

Too many factors could contribute for a person to feel sex is disguisting...few of them would be because they because they may not be exposed to Sex before...they might have always told that sex is disguisting.....they may not have seen positive side of having sex...they may not have had sex with nice partner....

Actually the source of sex is also source of urine and latrine. Some people can not differentiate. When they think about sex, latrine and urine overrides their thought and they tell it is dirty.

Some people dont want to take trouble of taking off pants or undergarments and want to excuse by saying sex is dirty.

They are probably either - Not attracted to their partner or a deeper issue which makes them act/feel that way about sex

could be the way tey were brought up to percieve sex ie religion etc its a natural event and should no way be percieved as disgusting
