I buy what my hairdresser recommends and uses. Joico shampoos and conditioner. For stressed or dry hair use the Joico K-Pak conditioner. I know the products are a little spendy but the effect they have is worth it. you can find Joico in beauty supply stores and just recently in a few drugstores.
Never use more than a dime-sized amount of shampoo, it isn't necessary to have a huge amount of lather to have clean hair and using too much can damage it. The conditioner should be left in for five to seven minutes minimum, longer if you can do it, don't worry about coating your whole head, the ends of your hair need it most. Rub a drop of conditioner between your hands and barely touch your hands to your hair until you get to the ends where you smooth it on.
Be careful when you rinse and never, ever scrub a towel over your hair, wrap the towel around your hair and squeeze the water out.
It takes at least six weeks of use before you get the full effects of any hair treatment so don't be discouraged if you don't get the hair you want immediately.

just depends what kind of problem u r having. for really dry hair conditioning is a major part keeping the hair moisturized. for healthy hair check the back of the bottle if alcohol is the first ingredient i would not put it on your hair. stay away from suave ok. try salon products or just go to sally beauty supply.
