My senior dog has been rubbing his butt on various objects. Can peperation H be used on dogs? Has anyone done that before?

As gross as this sounds, he would more than likely better benifit if you take him to the vet and have his anal glands squeezed. Most dogs have these glands right inside their anus, and they get backed up, which causes the dog to drag his butt or rub it. The vet will "empty" these glands for a fee of around $10. I would try that before using any form of human medications on the dog.

He needs taken to the vet. Sounds like he has worms and needs treated accordingly. The vet will take a stool sample so he can tell.

He could have worms which Prep H won't help that. Vet should examine him...however Preparation H would be excellent on Your sunburn. Think about it, it will soothe the burn and shrink the tissue. It works for me and my family.

no, you cant always use human stuff on animals, it can react differently. the best thing for your dog is to be taken to the vet. its an animal, you shouldnt 'compomise' your dogs pain.
