There is no true way to get someone off crack or any drug...They have to almost lose everything they want and care for...in other words, hit rock bottom; before they give it up....But dont give up hope, i've heard so many say you cant give up crack...You can!!! I know because i did.....i was on it for two yrs..But thank god i've been free of it for almost five yrs now...It's going to take strength and support both from you and others that care about him....And quite possibly some counseling as well..
there is no way you can make this person get off crack..But when they do stop...Simply be there for him/her, support them and let them know there are better things in life....
good luck

There is NO WAY to force an addict to give up their addiction. The best thing you can do is for yourself. Do not give them money because it will all go towards rock, if this is a parent of your child do not let the parent near the child. Once the person is ready to get clean, they will do it. Unfortunately this is true. How many times have people been told about how bad cigarettes are for them and yet millions a day still smoke and make every excuse to continue doing so, because they are addicted. I wish you lots of luck with this, its a hard situation to be in.

There is really nothing you can do, they have to want to get clean them self. You can be supportive and be there when times get tough because crack is a real hard thing to stop. But bottom line they have to want to stop.
