Watermelon is just a perfect fruit for summers. its true that in terms of nutrients u won't get much from it, 'coz its 99% water. but water is what is very imp in summers. it can help fulfil water requirements for the body. and in additions in a hot afternoon a few watermelon peices can cool u down, u don't need to drink some cold drink or ice-cream which are not as good for ur health, as a fruit is.

Watermelon is a good source of vitamin C and vitamin A. It also has a lot of anti-oxidents, which appear to be potent cancer fighters. It contains plenty of water as well and is fat-free.

One cup of watermelon has about 50 calories, so it definitely is a snack-worthy food.

water melon ,,reduces dehydration in u r body,more over it may create enough carbohydrates to re-generate the cells.
