Nope. I believe that it's more likely that he was married. It was far more common in those days for a Jewish man of his age to be married. The major reason that the bible doesn't mention it is because the authors believed it would be assumed. The bible makes no reference to Jesus being single either. However, there is mention that Peter was single. Why would it be important to mention his singleness, but not Jesus'?

Yes, it bother me so much. Because the Father married to Mary and has son (Jesus). And Jesus saved us. If he married to Mary Magdalene, then he will has son, Jesus Junior. And that Jesus Jr. will once again save us for atonement of sins by letting his body be crucified just like Jesus . Is that possible? So Father will has grandson. Isn't it wonderful? And the process will carry on forever. How nice......
So if the Godfather can has son, why not Jesus. And the son of the son of god will do the same just like his father, Jesus. He will die for the sake of humanity. Is that bother u? I mean if the Godfather needs son, so why on earth Jesus don't need son. Is that bother u?
Therefore, the idea of Jesus being married really numbed my head. The same also goes to the idea of god being married to someone. Why God needs son in the first place anyway?

It is almost universally agreed among all scholars and denominations that Jesus Christ did not begin his ministry until his early 30's. If Christ were unmarried at this age, then his enemies could have proven that he did not obey the laws and customs of his day. What were the laws and customs regarding marriage among the Jews at the time of Jesus? The oral tradition of Biblical Israel is now recorded in the Talmud. According to Jewish sources:
"Marriage is vitally important in Judaism. Refraining from marriage is not considered holy, as it is in some other religions. On the contrary, it is considered unnatural. The Talmud says that an unmarried man is constantly thinking of sin. The Talmud tells of a rabbi who was introduced to a young unmarried rabbi. The older rabbi told the younger one not to come into his presence again until he was married........The Talmud recommends that a man marry at age 18, or somewhere between 16 and 24." (Judaism 101, http://www.jewfaq.org/index.htm)
As noted above, the Jewish Elders looked for every opportunity of accusing Jesus of breaking tradition or committing sin. If Jesus were unmarried, would they not have simply been able to say:
"Jesus, you are many years past the age of marriage. As an unmarried man, you are always thinking of sin. Leave and do not assume to teach the truths of God until you have obtained proper marriage."
Why didn't the Jewish Elders just abruptly dismiss him for this oversight? Perhaps it was well known that he kept the marriage commandment of his Father as he had kept all other commandments?

During Jesus' time, the roman territory we now call Israel was still very culturally steeped in the Hebrew tradition. Very few men made it past age 16 without being married. It was not a sexual matter, as one answerer suggested. Marriage, in that time period, had absolutely nothing to do with romantic love as we know it in this day and age.
All Hebrew children were expected to marry the spouse their parents arranged for them and multiply the family name, increase the tribe's legacy, and add to the family's finances. Jesus would not have been accepted by MOST of society if he had not done his family duty and married.
The bible does not account for MOST of Jesus' life. He began his ministry at the age of 30 and was murdered at age 33. We know nearly nothing about what happened until age 30.

It does for the only reason being that it's not true !
Jesus came to do his Father's (GOD's) will and fullfill his mission ,he didn't have time for sexual relationships and that whole concept would have been a great conflict of interests for him.Jesus Knew he had to keep his Public as well as his private image pure and beyond reprouch ,he had enough powerful and dangerous opposition from his peers (The synagog and political powers"the Sanhedren") Who Crucified him.
If Jesus had been with a woman at the time of his ministry , They surely wouldn't have bothered because he would have been just like anyother normal man.

Yes. The Lord Jesus Christ was God manifested in the flesh. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Why do people wish to believe a lie? The Word of God tells that He was not married and that He was without sin. 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

It's just an idea. Anyone with a hint of bible understanding would KNOW the truth.
For example:
His purpose was known before he even was born to Mary.
He already had a family in mankind, he considered us his children
His love of God, (his heavenly father) surpassed anything offered by man.
He said it was his 'meat' to serve God.
If you will take the time to look around our website for research purposes, you will find many interesting answers. Many have and have expressed gratitude for it.

I believe what the Bible tells me and it does not tell me He got married. His church is his bride. I guess it bothers me how ignorant some people are. The end of times is coming and it seems the Devil is working overtime.
