Its normal sweetheart coz you're still a child.Anyway you did not specify what you mean by "go out herself"?Is it to have an ice -cream with friends?or a date ?Anyway the reason why most parents think you should not go out alone is because they want to protect you from the hush realities of this world!As a child ,you can only see the bright colours of a rose and its wonderfull scent but what you will miss are the thorns that surround the stem and thats what u are protected from.Just listen to the grey haired they have wisdom.

11 Year old=Child, meaning needs adult supervision. You would need to be more specific about "to go out." What does that mean? On a date? Into the yard? Since there are quite a number of unscrupulous people in the world, 11 year olds should want to have the safety of numbers of people. that could be parents or others in and around your age. I would think that most parents would love their children enough to not send an 11 year old out to fend for themselves.

Well Thats your parents decision, Im 13 now but 2 years back i use to feel that im kept hostage. I think in this age u should take ur own responsibility like learning to walking home all by yourself even me at the age of 13 my dad and my mom still wont let me go out myself because they say the out there is dangerous

Your parents are good...tell them they are doing a great job. Read all over this sit about 15, 16 and 17 year old girls getting preg. Your parents are good for not letting you go out alone. You are way to young.

Yes it's very normal! 11 years old is still very young..you're not even a teenager...not that it should make a big difference if you were but still way to young to do things completely unsupervised.

Well, 11 is pretty young, even in this day n age...but maybe you should try going as a group to something, maybe your parents will let u go then!! :)

It is not only normal but to allow you out on your own at your age is actually ILLEGAL and your parents/guardian could be prosecuted.

Yes it is very dangerous out there. My daughter is 15 and now she is allowed to go out alone and I STILL WORRY!

Yes it is b/c i wasnt even allowed to go out at that age they only place i was allowed to go was my front yard and back yard
