those my dear are true beauty marks - battle scars for bringing life into the world. what could be more beautiful than that?

I have had 4 c-sections and I can honestly say that there isn't much out there to reduce the scar or strechmarks. Time will fade the strechmarks, though. I just drink lots of water and exercise as much as I can. I get my husband to rub my legs and belly with cocoa butter ( Queen Helene, stick kind). I'm not sure it helps, but it can't hurt!
Basically, I've come to terms with my body. I used to be upset, but my husband likes my "mommy curves". I may not be able to wear a bikini anymore, but so what. There are more important things to worry about in life!
Congradulations and many blessings!

I had a c-section also but i was cut the bikini way and my scar is very light and unnoticeable.

Nothing will help trust me i have tried on the strechmark deal. They say cocoa butter but i don't think it helps at all.

While many people will swear by certain creams or lotions, the truth is there is not much you can do about stretch marks, you'll either get them or you won't......

Although there are no miracle cures there are certain products available to help minimize stretch marks. Look for products with Emu Oil, Oleic Acid, Cocoa Butter, Wheat Germ Oil, Vitamin E and Lanolin. These products will help strengthen your skin and minimize the stretch marks, but not erase them. With daily usage and time your stretch marks will fade.

You know time will fade the scar and also the stretch marks but nothing will totally get rid of them i had a c-section just under 4mths ago and i had a big 10pound 12ounce baby girls so i have lots of stretch marks the only thing you can do is accept it and move on, it has taken me this long to realise there is nothing i can do about it but it was a sacrifice i made and my beautiful little girl was worth it

Unfortunately, the scar is there to stay! It will lighten up over time and not be quite so noticeable. What I have a problem with is that I have a gut there that won't go away completely. Others who had c-sections told me that they had the same problem. Don't get too worried or upset about it though, just think of the wonderful child you got out of it. When I get depressed about how it looks, I just remind myself of that fact.

nothing because when you have a c-section it is like major abdominal surgery and cuts right through the muscles. You can try sit ups after you clear it with your doctor, along with walking but that may still not help so you might want to readjust to the little pudgy lower stomach. Sorry Hun but good luck most defiantly

I also just had my third child by c-section. My sister gave me something I think is called BIO - OIL, which has helped the stretchmarks, scarring and skin pigmantation quite a lot, but I have accepted that my scar of my caeser is there forever! Don't worry - it does fade in time and is not so noticable.

I also have scarring from 2 c-sections and since those scars will always be with me I fondly refer to it as my birth mark.To keep things in perspective some people face lifelong scarring caused by traumatic life situations that were not of their choice.Your scars are a constant reminder that you gave birth to a beautiful baby.

oops. Good ole stretch marks! I think every mother has at LEAST one somewhere! I think your stuck. Maybe like surgery will help get rid of them but I don't know. They'll fade after awhile. You should of coco buttered it all nine months and refrained from scratching. But thats ok........and the c-section scar (i've had 2) will fad to white and you'll hardly notice it. But you've got to give it time.

They will fade over time and I would not exactly say your body is destroyed. Everything still works right? Consider them the badge of motherhood and accept it. Wear a one piece instead of a bikini if you feel more comfortable.
