I'm asking not because I'm looking, but rather because I'm intrigued. It's just I've got lots of male friends in that position who are approaching 24 / 25 and I just wondered if it was possible for girls. I'm also interested if there are reasons for this and what they are, as I always presumed girls matured quicker and got asked out by guys so it would be unlikely, but it would be interesting to be proved wrong.

Yep! One of my freiends is nearly 23, and she is veyr much stilla virgin-she hasnt even kissed a man passionately, or even had a relationship with someone! In 6th from i thought it was rather odd-but irespected her obviousley as its her choice. She isnt a Christian-nor is she religious, so these beliefs havent persuaded her not to have a phsyical relationship-she has just been unlukcy i guess, or doesnt feel the need for a relationship.

She is very independant and quite agressive towards men, so its quite hard for them to get to know her-which explains alot! I think she gives out this impressionthat they arnt good enough for her-which in part is to try to protect herself i guess. herfather left when she was quite young-so perhaps this has affected her choice in men, or having non existent relationships!

I think its possible not to have had a relationship at any age-and acceptable. At the end of the day some people are happiest left alone-and independanct individuals in that sense. I guess its their own person choice-they also have to be ready for a relationship so perhaps this is why they are single. I think they are missing out though! :)

xx

I'm 21 and although I have dated I haven't yet been in what I'd call a serious relationship. It's mainly just because I haven't met anyone yet that has made me go... wow! I don't want to be in a relationship just for the sake of it. I think I quite like the thrill of the chase too and rarely want to see a guy again after the first date! I'm sure that will change eventually when I meet someone who's on the same wavelength as me. I'm just enjoying being single too much for now though!

I have lots of female friends who are the same as me. We are all just too busy doing our own thing to worry about being in relationships at the moment!

I know very nice and capable ladies in their 30s, 40s and 50s who never had a boyfriend. So what? Let them live their lives just like you do yours.

Eventually everyone grows old, dries up and blow off in the wind. Live and let live.

i'm 27 and single. well, not single. my bf is in another country at the moment. however, the reason that i couldn't date anyone here right now is i need time to get closer to God. so that's MY reason.

I only have those who have had boyfriends before in their lives but dont have now and not those who have never had boyfriends before. if all you need are those without guys, then I can offer you plenty.

I am in my early thirties, and have NEVER had a 'boyfriend', simply because I haven't found anyone I feel comfortable with.
