My garlic prawn recipe came from a restaurant I used to work in once, I only learnt it by watching so I do not have the exact amounts of the ingredients needed sorry, but after a while you adjust it to your taste.
I place a tiny bit of butter in a frypan, add some crushed garlic (to your taste) some spring onions, fry for just a little while, then add some cream and powdered chicken stock (again to your taste) and chopped parsely and then allow to reduce so that the garlic permeates through the sauce. I then thicken if necessary with a bit of cornflour mixed with milk and add this to the sauce. The last thing I add are the prawns and cook until just cooked so that they are still tender and not chewy.
This is great served on a bed of rice.
This recipe is still very popular at the restaurant

Garlic can be used in many ways with sea food and if your only looking for the use of it for at home all you have to do is experiment with it and it's fun. Try sprinkling a bit on the Prawns before you cook them. Or if your doing them in the oven mix some garlic with the butter your going to dip them in. Make sure you measure each time you use garlic with which ever method you use and keep track of it so you will know when you land on the best amout to use. Garlic like salt is a very touchy seasoning to work with so never use too much.

Get a can of Old Bay Seasoning and follow the recipe on the side of the can for cooking the prawns. Then melt some butter in a skillet and add your crushed garlic. Toss it around a little but not long enough for the butter to turn brown and dump it on the prawns

Heat 15ml olive oil + 15g butter in pan until butter starts to froath. Add king prawns & two cloves of crushed garlic (heat but don't let garlic go brown). Just before you take it off the heat add 2 tsp of lemon juice. Serve with fresh crusty bread.
