Funny you should ask 'cause I have a theory about this one. We know cats love mice & mice love cheese right? So ya combine the two and ya get a kitty treat sorta like a little hot popper...similar to those stuffed jalapenoa bar type snacks that humans eat. I think this is why cats love cheese...gmao!!

Not all cats love cheese, but some do. I think one of the main attractions for the love of cheese, it is cold and they like to eat cold products. Cold food in Summer helps cool their bodies down when they get overheated. They particularily love cottage cheese when they are hot and panting.
Plus cats love the texture of cheese too and they enjoy the taste just like we do.
Cats and dogs and other pets are trully wonderful gifts to us humans who happen to love them. Have fun with your cats and may you and your cats have a bond of friendship to last many long years!

FYI - most cats are in some way lactose intolerant. Some cats only have to look at cheese ( or milk for that matter) and get the "runners." Hope your cat isnt one of those less tolerant :) Happy cleaning!!!!

Really? didn't know that? I know they like milk so if they do eat cheese maybe it's because it's a dairy product.

im pretty sure they like it because of the milk. cats arent suposed to have milk so i wouldnt give them cheese either.
