If you want to do this it is for life so you need to totally change your way of eating and exercising. This is not a diet rather than a healthy eating plan for life. So no more talking diet cause it means time limit. Stop making some major mistakes wake up earlier and get active earlier your metabolism is sluggish and needs to be woken up this is half your problem.
Here are the golden rules:
Initially cut down to 1200 calories.
Exercise 6 times per week for 1 hours a day. Do three weight sessions and three cardio sessions. No gym involved.
Don't eat carbs after 4pm, never eat carbs within 2 hours of exercise or within 1 hour of exercise.
Drink 3 litres of water per day. You can have a green tea at the end of the day.
Limit your fruit in take to 2 pieces per day.
Never eat dinner after 6pm.
Adopt of low GI eating plan this is sustainable for life!
Make low fat dairy choices
Follow this menu plan as a suggestion:
Breakfast 7am - 1 cup hot water w lemon
20 minutes later have a bowel of oats w water (no honey) OR
fruit salad w low GI soy yogurt
Snack 10am - pear or apple (both low GI)
Lunch 12.30pm - multigrain sandwich w 50g tuna & salad (no butter)
Snack 3pm - low GI yogurt OR skim berry smoothie (no honey or banana) plenty of ice, 1/2 cup skim milk & 1/4 cup yogurt
Dinner 5.30pm - 120g grilled lean meat/fish/prawns/tofu patties (not fried) w spinach salad & mixed vegies (no whites, carbs) OR 3 egg white/soy omlette with ham, cheese and tomato
Snack - 1 scoop of low cal low fat ice cream (if hungry)
Exercise is must be intense. Refer to www.bodybuilding.com for your weights routine. Never do weights two consecutive days have a cardio day in between.
Cardio needs to include running, go hard up stair wells and cycling. You get the most benefits from exercise when your body is totally fatigued and this is when you see changes.
To maintain you can increase calories to 1500 and reduce exercise sessions to 3-4 times per week. If weight creeps up again due to holiday period etc.. go back to 1200 cal and 6 sessions again.
Good luck it worked for me it can work for anyone.

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.
1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.
2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.
3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.
These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

I have the same problem, a job at a desk 7 hour a day so I can relate to your situation. For me the answer has to be progressively resolving my bad habits. Like less sugar in my coffee and tea, slowly replacing food with lower calorie substitutes and being more consistent with my exercise. also I have found that reducing my food intake in the evening is important. I have taken up a hobby that I really like, that involves lots of walking - photography. Too many carbs seems to be your downfall. chips and bread in the same day for me would be a lethal combination. Try salads, steamed vegetables, lean beef, fish and chicken

No secret.
For weight loss exercise such as swimming, running, cycling and even walking can help but dieting can often help a lot more than exercise.
A very good and healthy weight loss diet is the DASH diet that can also help to reduce high cholesterol and high BP.
The DASH diet includes a lot of fruit and vegetables combined with whole grains and cereals plus low fat dairy products such as low fat cheese, milk and yogurt as well as lean meats.
Good serials are Weetbix, oatmeal, oatbran, wheat bran and wheat germ.

wanna lose 8kg? easy, cut off ur leg..
now if u wanna lose 8kg of fat..then we're going somewhere.
I want u to go to www.fitday.com and input ur daily food intake in there. dont cheat! HEre's the basics. I weight a certain amount, for me to maintain my weight, i must eat 3500 calories. to gain weight, i must eat more than that, to lose weight, I must eat less than that. That's a basic 101 nutrition for u. But please visit www.fitday.com. at the end of the day, you can see the proportion of ur meals...it has a pie graph. Today mine showed 40% of my pie graph was made up of carbohydrates..which is a little high ..to my standards. It also tells u how many calories u have eaten. so that at 4pm..u can say..ok i have eaten 1200 calories..i can only eat 800 calories for the rest of the day. so then u know how much to eat to stay below ur calorie max allowed.
Then after u go to that site. please please visit http://weight-loss.fitness.com/index.php
it's an online forum/group where ppl from all over..and their main goal is to lose weight. Pls create an account and introduce urself. We're ready to answer questions and give advice. also, on the forum board.. there's challenges. such as...the June 15-July 15 challenge. n ppl post their current weight..and then post their goal weight..n they try to get to their goal weight. N the person who loses the most weight..sometimes there's prizes. such as...everyone sends a postcard to the winner.
I hope that my friends at http://weight-loss.fitness.com/index.php can help you lose the pounds/kilos u wanna lose. Remember, it can be done!

I'm Anthony. I lost 75 pounds and shed my high school nickname Pudgy. Our family has a tragic history of cardiac disease and rheumatoid arthritis. I am proud to say that family tradition ends with me. I know I have broken the cycle and will never have to be faced with those illnesses. Thank, you have changed my life.
