u have to be honest

Wow, this is a hard question to put into words.

I think that for most subjects that come up in converstations between you and your partener you should be honest. Even if it hurts them.

But there are somethings you can lie about.

If I had cheated on my husband, I would tell him. I would have to...just to get myself over it. I know that this would tear us apart, but its something that has to be done.

I think it depends on how close you are in your relationship and what really matters you the two of you.

I know that this probably didn't answer your question, but I tried.

no, not if it's something that will cause un necessary hurt to your partner. you have to weigh up the situation. if it is something that will have an impact on your partner than by all means tell them. if not than keep it to yourself.

i'm a firm believer in what you don't know won't hurt you. only ask the questions that you can handle the answers too.

anyway, we all need to have our secrests!!

nope, if ever u know that it will hurt her/his feelings, rather not say it. but if its about cheating stuff, better tell the truth rather them finding it out in a different way.

of course... its the best policy you know... but there there are times that you need to hide some "aces" to protect yourself. We become vulnerable if everything about us is known...
