Here is where I'm confused.

If God created hell for the non believers is that fair? How is that not using fear and punishment to get what you want (i.e. worshipers)?

It seems like someone is putting a gun to your head and saying Now Make a free will choice : Believe and Do as I command, or Die.

That is not a compassionate god. That is a God that loves only his followers. That is a terrorist God!

no - man created hell so they could send those people there they don't like....

god would never create a hell - it would mean that he will punish his own creation and that doesn't make sense!

Hell is the grave. You die and gone. Churches teach the unscriptural concept of a tortured hell - making God to be some merciless torturer. But God is love. (1 John 4:16)
The worst the wicked will receive is destruction as in no longer existing. (Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 & 9:10) The righteous will live forever on a paradise and the wicked cut off forever, so there is no need to torture the wicked forever - destruction is more than enough. Babylonian teachings have crept into the mainstream of christendom and has misaligned and misinterpereted God as a cruel revenger. Turning people away from him and making teachers for themselves. (2 Timothy 4:3-4)
The prophecies in Revelation 17:1-6 will bring an end such false religions and practices.

God didn't originally create hell. It was created in response to Satans sin, and became a place for punishment of those that dont believe.

Look, God gives you free will, and it is not forced upon you like a terrorist. You KNOW that terrorist is there, you can feel that gun pressed to your head, and your going to likely submit or die.

Using logic, God is a theory, one not proven nor dis-proven. SO making a choice to believe in him or not is up to you. You have all the info you need, and you make an informed choice. You either follow, or you dont. If you choose not to, then you are ready to accept the consequences of your choice. Its pretty simple.

God is compassionate and merciful. He sent his son to bear ALL sins, and to die for Salvations sake. He loves everyone of us, but he despises the sin. For that sin, there is punishment. He will love those that go to hell, but they chose that, and are being punished according to his Law.

Hell is turning your back on God. Hell is a by product of a Loving God. When you die everything you have ever done will be revealed by the perfect light of God. You will not be able to hide from your own sins except in the shadows of Hell. Your Creation not Gods.

No thats not true. People who know of God and choose not to follow will go to hell. But the people who don't know about God are innocent. Is all about knowing where your help comes from. I'm so tired of people posting questions like these. It's either you believe or you don't. If you don't believe then nothing I say will change that. Most people who believe in God believe in him because God showed them why to believe in him. So, I say ask him to show you. It won't hurt. If you really want to know then you go to the source.

According to a school of Sanathana Dharma, God does not discriminate between believers or non believers, nor has he made any Hell & Heven saperatly, they exists in this same world, God does not invlove in makeing one happy nor sad., its' once own karma that make him suffer or enjoy (karma : effect of good and bad deeds done by an individual, in this or his earlier birth)

Ofcourse, praying for him can always have the effect of neturalizing / minimizing the effects of bad karma,

Once I heard a great guru speaking, according to Him "that a non belivers' repeated pronouncing of the words 'god is not there' will also deemed to be words told about in rememberance of GOD", that is the kind of compassion, God has towards his creation.

GOD NEVER asks any one to pray for him, its those misguided religious people who are bent on making the impression that Gods' worship is the only way for heven, (if there is one?)

But being created by him, we owe the minimum responibilty of recognizing him and praying for him for all the things he has provided around us.

Yes, Allah created Heaven for his followers, and Hell-fire for the unbelievers.

Why you say "that is not a compassionate God"....??? Do you expect Allah (God) to treat His believer and the non believers equally...!!!
That will be unfair for the believers..isn't it

Allah is the best judge and is the source of "fairness" itself.

God never said He was a senile old Teddy Bear Grandpa....
God is good; because He doesn't HAVE to save anybody.
We are all deserving off hell and damnation; but, by the grace of God some are saved from it.

(Rom 9:20) Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
(Rom 9:21) Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor?
(Rom 9:22) What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
(Rom 9:23) And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
(Rom 9:24) Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

People will ask why doesn't He save everybody??? The real question is why does He save ANY of us?????

I don't think myself better than anyone else..just chosen for mercy. Good works don't earn my way to Heaven.. they are just evidence of the fact that I'm going there.

To make himself and heaven more appealing. His only excuse is he doesn't exist. I'm going out on a limb with this one. Perhaps man created this concept to control gullible people. Bad concept? Okay, God really likes torturing free thinkers and has a S & M fetish. Another point, would you want to go to heaven? Would that be boring. Look at who claims to be going. I know by your question that you think the concept is as absurd as I do.

God didn't "create hell" as a form of punishment. Hell exists as a "place" absent from the presence of God. Hell is simply a separation from God.

Every individual is free to chose their own path in life. God's foreknowledge does not negate our free will. Therefore, God is not responsible for "sending people to hell"...an individual sends himself there if they reject His Grace.

If you kill someone you face the death penalty or a life prison sentence. Is my telling you that a threat, or is it simply acknowledging the reality of the situation as it exists? I could understand why you might perceive it as a threat...but it is also simply the reality of consequences for our actions.

According to Merriam-Webster and Dictionary.com, just as I had suspected, an atheist is "one who believes that there is no deity" and "one who disbelieves or denies the existence of God or gods", respectively. Therefor, as a true atheist, is this even a valid question? If there is NO GOD, there can be NO HELL, NO HEAVEN, no anything related to Him. So if none of this exists for you, you've got nothing to fear, right?
