I've had cats for years, and they usually only misbehave when they're feeling unsettled or insecure. For eg. when I was moving out of my mum's house, my cat left a dead rat in my bedroom next to the bin. She felt upset that I was leaving her. Some people I know punish their cats for bringing in dead things, but I've been told that it's the cat's way of earning their keep in the household so we should praise them. I did that, and she went back to normal pretty quickly. They are creatures of habit who need to feel safe and that nothing unexpected will happen to them, so trying to punish them by changing their environment and (chaining them up) will only make them worse. They don't think and react the same way we do. He is naughty to pee everywhere and it is good to be firm with him, but I think you might be stressing him out a bit with your reactions. Maybe you should be firm, but kind, and create a routine so he knows what to expect. If things don't get better after a while, try and find a good home for him. Good luck, and best wishes to your family and your cat.

You are being very cruel to your cat. You should NEVER chain your cat or let him roam if he is declawed. Cats cannot be punished, they need to feel that you are patient and loving.

Obviously it's not working out for you or the cat, and you will never have the patience or the brains to try to correct the situation. Even if you did, the cat probably will resent you.

Please take the poor kitty to an animal shelter or find a good home for him right away! If not the situation will probably get so bad that you will be ashamed of yourself for treating him cruelly in the future. Apparently you do not feel any shame now, though you should.

Cats should NOT be left outside. Especially declawed ones. he can't even defend himself. Honestly, you can't succeed in punishing a cat. He is mad about something. Did you make ANY changes at all? He may have decided he does not like his litter even if you have not changed the brand. I had a cat that would do the same thing and I switched the litter and all was fine.

can't really understand your English but sounds like there's quite a bit of animal cruelty involved here.

if you really cannot handle this animal, you may want to put him up for adoption or give him up. Please don't be cruel to another living thing. Cats are not meant to be chained. If you go on like this, I fear that you are going to have a sick or injured cat soon and that would make any adoption very difficult.
