No, it's not. People who say they love the person they can't stand are liars. The fact is these people have long found too many faults with the person they are pretending to love, but are forced due to societal norms to say that they love the person.
That's fake love. Only to show that even though you think the person is a really horrible person, you are *great* enough to love that person.
Be wary of these liars. They hurt you all the time and then say they only did that because they loved you. Such people are incapable of loving; they can spread hatred and call it their love for you!
When you truly love a person, you want to stay and help; no matter where the person is. He could be in hell, but you'll still want to stay.

Yes! esp. if you have been with them a long time and truly know them. Usually the honeymoon is long over and you have awakened next to a person in horror after being with that person for so many years - and you ask yourself "What have I done"???
But this can also happen in families as well. We are not the Cleavers or any of those television families - we are real.

I know it's possible to love someone and go through periods when you don't like them very much.

It depends on the reason. If u love them so much and don’t stand being with so u don’t end up hurting them then yes.
