That's something you can deal with. I'd give him a chance. I don't know that much about ADD and ADHD...my godkids are both diagnosed, but to me, they act like any other kids their age, and possibly more calmer. (they know my "rules" and if they don't obey, we drop whatever we're doing and go home)

So if he has ADHD or whatever what has that got to do with you liking him??? Are you so shallow that someone having a little problem with attention deficit would cause you to not want to be with him?
People with it live happy productive lives, most don't even know they have it. Its not a disease that is contagious like Aids.
Here is an excerpt from the ADHD forum:
The symptoms of ADHD fall into three basic subtypes:
Predominantly inattentive type–characterized by difficulty in sustaining attention in classroom and play activities, the inability to organize simple tasks and activities and forgetfulness
Predominantly hyperactive-impulsive type–characterized by constant fidgeting and moving (often at inappropriate times), being unable to sit quietly and incessant talking or blurting out excessively
Combined type–characterized by both inattention and hyperactivity
SO what does this all mean, ? It means He tends to be fidgety, talks a lot or hyperactive....sounds like a good thing to have in a guy, at least you know he wont be sitting in front of the TV all day turning fat and lazy.

My advice would be to give the guy a chance if you feel comfortable with him. Go to a public place, restaurant, and see how he reacts. He may not have add or adhd. You could even go on a double date. Get your girlfriend's opinion. Try to see if it works. I'm glad he's not in a relationship just for sex.

How does that affect your relationship it is just a label? Look at him for who he is not his labels and ask yourself do you like him really. He isn't going to change. Make an honest assesment. My son has adhd I don't get to choose I love him and I have to learn how to adapt to someone with adhd and ODD. I love him very much and would never go back and change the past.

Talk to him about it, you both can work on it and overcome it. Does it affect how you see him just because you know there is something 'wrong'? Maybe you won't get past it, but if he's worth it, you should give it a try. It's not his fault.

I say try dating him and see what happens, if it becomes an issue you can deal with it later, if not then maybe he is your Mr. Right.
