The whole dating/courtship game is what it is all about. Enjoying each others company etc. Wined, Dined, Chocolates, Flowers. Opening doors for a lady...It shows respect, plus as you say it gives you the chance to get to know the lady.
It`s the way I like it anyway.

I would love to see courtship come back. I am personally married. I think that people dating now a days go too far too fast. My brother in law took a girl home from a bar one night slept with her and they moved in together less than a month later. I really can not see that relationship lasting.

If the "lady" misunderstands you, she's no "lady" I believe that all women would love to be courted; To be made to feel special and not rushed into anything and having someone take the time to actually get to know you?

i think if all mean were courtesy, life would be better! i mean, women always act as though they just wanna ****, but when the guy opens the door for "hi lady" at a restaurant, orwalks at the outside of a sidewalk so that she wont get dirtyk, they seem to appreciate that. i wishi could find a mean like that...

My husband 'courted' me, in fact he still does. It is staggeringly cool to have your chap arrive with flowers, in black tie, to whisk you off somewhere. Suspense creates desire and time allows the opportunity to really know each other before you move up the scale. I would thoroughly recommend it!

It would be wonderful to be friends first. But unless there is also a chemistry - women tend to not take friends as lovers!

What behaviors in specific are you asking about? In other words, what entails "courting" for you? Do you mean asking women out?

I certainly do. It made me feel special. I also made my special someone feel as if he was the only man on the face of the earth. Still do.
