The direct approach is usually the best, especially in this case. If a scam artist has your banking information, not telling your husband the truth will only make matters worse, because he's going to notice when large sums of money start going missing or you change all the bank accounts.

You two need to contact your bank ASAP and explain that you've been the victims of a scam and move immediately to change your accounts and protect your financial assets from whoever scammed you. It will only be harder to do later.

Just tell him.
There's an oriental proverb which loosely translates into
"Unnecessary deep pondering results in weak decisions (or into indecisiveness).
Good luck with the husband. Maybe you will discover a very supportive side to him which may further strengthen your bond!!!!

Just tell him, but do it immediately. The longer you wait, the worse it will be. If you tell him now, the two of you can work together to clear it up.
