Just to get married and say you did, how soon can you get a divorce. And about how much total would it cost. I'm talking justice of the peace, and quickie divorce.

I would try for an annulment if you want to end it so soon. You can get quickie divorces in a lot of states for the filing fees if there aren't any property disputes or challenges from the other side. They run from $68-$200 bucks, I believe.

An actual divorce takes at least 6 months - and will at least be the fees ($500-ish), much more if you have a lawyer. An annulment is much faster & simpler, but will still cost you ($500 to $1000). I would go the route of the annullment - it is like being able to say "oops" and take it back (not that I recommend it - personally, marriage isn't taken seriously enough anymore).

Well that depends on why you got married. If it was to stay in a country then alot longer. But if you got married today, you can have it annulled tomorrow if you didnt consumate it.

Apart from that you would have to check the statutes in the country/state you are in on how long you have to be seperated before filing for a divorce.

How cheap it is depends on how much property you have and how greedy the other person is.

That's called an anullment and can be done the next day. But you aren't supposed to get married just to get married. Its gonna cost anywhere from 500 to 1000 USD. Waste of time, money, and damaging to the idea of love and marriage.
