I've read about indigo child in "intisari" magazine in Indonesia.. And in fact, my cousin, a college student majoring in communication has once interviewed an indigo child. It is said that if an indigo child is undergoing an aura photoshoot, it will show indigo color around his/her body.

Indigo children have an extrordinary intelligence, which can be some kind of weird.
Example, the indigo child my cousin interviewed can know what is the content of the book without even opening the book! (He never read the book before)
Some other indigo children are able to speak several languages without even being taught.

That's all I can provide. Cheers. ;)

OK, you're on to something incredible here. Relax, feel this one through.

Indigo children (as opposed to the Crystaline Children who are just now being born and whatever came before the Indigo Children) have a special role to play in this world. They are about shifting this world's energy into a more honest light. They are instinctively more aware of issues with injustice, freedom, bigotry, and other forms of humans hurting others out of fear. Many don't deal well with all the chaos and destruction of the world and act out (rebellion, drugs, etc.). It makes sense, they're aware of a shift that's happening in the world, without anyone telling them there is one, and get frustrated at the old ways of things.

It's more of a spiritual intelligence than a traditional view on intelligence, although it also translates into more clarity analytically and creatively.

If you're grappling with this, you'll get a great guide if you were to read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. This book, published in 1974, is an incredible book that may give you a good feeling for what we're talking about. The author's son was an Indigo Child, although he never talks about this directly. So, the son goes with the author in a cross-country motorcycle trip and experiences life and the author is dealing with how this works in the world, how this fits into a larger philosophic perspective, and how this philosophic perspective is at odds with the western mind, but didn't used to be before Socrates and Plato. I recommend this book first because it gives you a way to think about these things from several different perspectives if other discussions of the topic seem a little too ethereal/new-age for you.

If not, you may enjoy some of the books I've pasted below.

this was in my sisters computer game Farenheit. The 'indigo child' from what I understand has knowledge above all others and a mind so brilliant that men would war over it.

the 'indigo child' was a pure soul never reincarnated a pure innocence untouched by man! so the indigo child would usually be deaf or a mute so as not to be tainted.

The indigo child in the game held ultimate knowledge to the meaning of life!!!

Yeah, my mom read a book called "the indigo child" a while back. She said it talks about the change of the mental attitude of kids these days, but she said she didn't read all of it cause it was annoying. :-?
