why is it when i pick up woman and im nice they dont seem to respond but if im kinda rude i can do wat i want with them?

Try to get them into the mind frame that they want to chase you. Be nice, but teasing but never let on that you like them untill your sure that shes into you. Its just too easy if your into them and they didnt have to work. Girls like the chase as much as guys do, and both like to fight/win over something.
Be nice but more playful teasing than full on nice.
