I don’t dislike gays but I’m opposed to homosexuality. Can you accept this? I am a Christian so I don’t support homosexuality per se. But that doesn’t mean I have to hate gays. I have known many nice gay people who make otherwise great model Christians, more so than some people who are opposed to homosexuality but break every other commandment in the book. I had a high school friend who was gay, but I wasn’t going to ruin a friendship by bringing that issue up. It may be an authority figure like a pastor or parent’s job to talk to him, but it certainly wasn’t mine. My point is don’t judge an overall person because they are gay. Aggressively bashing gays isn’t Christian, neither are hate crimes. That along with turning people away from the church because of those actions is the devil’s work. And it’s also not fair to label a person who is only defending God’s word as homophobic, because that’s bigoted too. People who are truly liberal would understand this. Another thing, homosexuality is a very gray area. There’s choice homosexuality where they flat out sin and then there’s the people who have a genetic disposition to it, so they may have a harder time not having romantic feelings for men. I am not sure what the right thing for those people to do is, but not being one of those people or being an expert on that type of situation I don’t think I judge.

"Hmmm, You sound a bit confused. Best stick to criticising the many unhealthy forms of heterosexuality that are far more prevalent than homosexual."
Definitely! Heterosexual sins are the far bigger problems, those are the ones that actually bother me. I don't feel motivated to fight homosexuality, my point is that I don't necessarily advocate it either. If homosexuality increased but heterosexual sin decreased, that would be a great thing and good enough for me.
A lot of your answers have demonstrated your ignorance of Jesus's words and Christianity, or that your minds are so narrow that they can't grasp the notion of a "gray" area.

Your answers also demonstrate you understand even less. Why are you slandering me? Did you even bother to read what I said? I never said gays are going to hell. I said I love gays as much as anyone else. You're confusing what I said with what someone else said. More bigoted stereotyping.

The gay movement is aggressive against holy things: like marriage, people who say it's a sin, etc. It is only natural to be wary of them because they want to start a war....they have already.
My point is, if there is any phobia, isn't it their doing?
Should they just live their lives without forcing the rest of society to call what they do "good?"

Disagreeing with homosexuality turns out to suggest that you simply believe this can be a mindful choice at the aspect of the gay. It isn't. A man or woman is drawn to the identical intercourse or the reverse intercourse through elements that are set lengthy earlier than they succeed in the age of cause. If your argument is that homosexuals must be celibate all their lives, that is beautiful harsh. You see how good it has labored for the Catholic priesthood. Homophobic is going extra, and expresses disgust and derision of homosexual persons. In different phrases, I see the war of words as being well mannered, at the same time the homophobic is going excessive into unhealthy manners and even violence.

Sorry, you are not "deffending the word of God", you are justifying the fear of man. There is nothing in the bible that says gays are sinners that are going to hell. There are many more quotes about judging people than there are about "man laying with man". This quote is the number one reason people see homosexuality as a sin and yet with a bit of research people would know the original quote was "man shall not lay with man, for this shall be UNCLEAN". In rewritting for a new version, it was misquoted and changed to an abomination. There is a big difference from unclean to an abomination. Im not here to say homosexuality is wrong or right, but to take a misquote as...well....the word of God, does not make you less of a sinner than the rest of us unwashed masses. Im sure God is happy to know that you think beating people up is wrong. Good luck in your search for God.

actually, according to me based on some scientific facts, Homosexuality is not natural. it is due to us ,humans. during the first couple of months of a bay the sexual hormones are secreted which later help in development of the sexual organs. And as everyone knows we use diapers for babies these days from the start, the temperature in the sexual area needed is not maintained and this gives rise to the chances of homosexuality. This is only one of the reasons. That's why u'll notice that there are less homosexuals in Asian countries than in Europe or NA cause those countries are not so developed.

I belive they have the same root -- insanity. There's no intelligence in it. It's all fantasy. It's all utter nonsense. There's not a shred of truth in it.
Bible writers revealed NOTHING about homosexuality. NOTHING. Their spewings revealed little more than ignorance, injustice, kissing up to power mongers, and personal distastes, premised on prejudice, for various scenarios. But they revealed no truth about homosexuality, pure and simple.
I do NOT believe it is Christian to be as you described. As I see it, a Christian would be a scrupulous lover of truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. I do NOT believe any Christian has any morally righteous reason for "opposing" homosexuality. I believe TRUE Christians would see that clearly.
