Don't believe me or dismiss this until you do the research for yourself...it is VERY important!!!
the number is not the mark it is the number of the beast's name..
the old languages(Latin, Greek, Hebrew) used no numbers..instead each letter in their "Alphabet" has a numerical equivalent...Roman numerals have both a linguistic and numerical meaning..XXX is three x's and is also 30....the beasts name added up equals 666

All the Reformers (Luther, Calvin, Tynndale..etc) knew who the beast IS. It has been in the last 100 years or so that the spirit of delusion has been spreading and in no small part to the counter-reformation of the papacy.
The mark has been around for over 1500 years it's called a cross(previously used by pagans as a talisman to ward off evil spirits) and was solely a creation of the papacy and Constantine
who claimed to have a vision of the cross saying "In this sign conquer". In the greek "textus receptus" (the original text that the King James was taken from...the word that the translators implied toi be cross is actually stauroo which means a post or a stake...similarly the word for crucify actually means impale as in being attached to a stake not thrust onto one.

Brother, while I believe the End Times are close, I don't think they're here yet. So, no, I don't believe anyone is marked with the number of the beast as foretold in The Bible.
However, it's clear that The Mark is placed on those who have chosen The Beast as their god. That would mean that they will both knowingly (and willingly) carry the mark.
As to what form the mark will take -- interpretations vary. The argument could be made that there have ALWAYS been those who carry the mark of the beast (in their souls) and show it in the way they live their lives.
Although, as the end draws nearer, many people are feeling the urgency to "get right with God", humans have never lived in a time when they didn't have to personally choose between good and evil.

I think it's very unlikely. I don't think the mark of the beast is literally 666. I think 666 symbolizes something else. Which, I am not smart enough to figure out.
Now, could there be people who bear the mark of the beast? Yes.
Could they be unaware of it? Yes.
But, don't worry; I'm sure it's not you or anyone you know.

it is well known in the catholic doctrine that it is the mark of Satan,
but it is more or less a myth,there is no mention of it in the Gospel in the sense.
unless people are starting to tattooing them self's with it.

At this time in the world I think it could very well be, the anti christs are being developed..The big anti christ in the end time, I can't really say.
