I consider myself an ever growing Christian. I know the Bible is the ordained and inspired Word of God, and I know the history of the apochrapha and Biblical Cannon. But I founf this link, wich is quite informative about some books left out of the Bible and why.

Does it concern any of you, as Christians, that we dont have these books to study also, or are you relying on Faith that God made sure all we needed to know got through? Just curious, cause I myself would like to read the missing stuff.

There are many apocryphal texts that were not included in the bible. It is wrong to say "left out" because 'left out' assumes Divine Inspiration. The texts in question were obviously not inspired, since they were 'Not Included'.
A given text isn't inspired because of who wrote it, when it was written, etc. A text is Inspired because God gave the author the Words to use.
Look at the writings of the Church Doctors and Church Fathers. They penned many, many writings - all of which are worth reading, none of which were inspired in the same manner the Bible Books were Inspired.
Catholicism does not discourage the reading of these apocryphal texts. All of the most well-known apocryphal texts can be purchased at Catholic Book stores.
The Church encourages people to read them because, while they are not Divinely Inspired, they teach significant religious Truths. They are all available if you want to study them.
You needn't worry. The Bible is complete. One can know this just by examining the first and last books; Genesis is a perfect beginning, and Revelation is the perfect epilogue.
Please, read the Bible with confidence, knowing the Books in the Bible are the only ones that belong there. Also, read all the apocrypha you want, knowing that they have something to offer despite the absence of Divine Inspiration.
On a personal note, I would stat away from wikipedia. I don't like relying on any info when I have absolutely no clue who provided it.

I am familiar with the apocryphal writings. I know that the Catholic church accepts some books--one of them is listed on the website: Book of Enoch. I encourage you to look at some of them as you will see why apocryphal books were not canonized. I believe you can see them by doing a Yahoo! or Google search on the names of the books.
These books cannot hold a candle to the inspiration of the canonized books. There may be some little tidbits of historical truth in these books but there are those which contradict the teachings of the Bible, there are some whose content is morally questionable.
The church fathers never alluded to nor quoted from these books. The church fathers never gave any hint that these books were inspired writings. The Jews of the time of Christ did not accept any of the deuterocanonical books in their canon. The apostle John near the end of his death helped to collect these writings and the apocryphal writings were not included. The testimony of Scripture itself bears witness to the lack of inspiration of the apocryphal books and to the inspiration of its own books.
Some say the council of Nicea was what determined the books of the Bible; the fact is that the council of Nicea just confirmed what the Christian community already knew to be the Word of God.
Having read much of these apocryphal writngs, I can say that I can see that they do not hold up to the standard of the inspired texts. I am not concerned at all that our Bible could possibly be incomplete. What I do see in these apocryphal writings is some interesting literature at best.

your missing alot more than a few books
your missing the background and explanation to the books you already have.
want proof? please explain to me how the Biblical Israelites after first conquering the land were able to set up a legal system souly biased on the first five books that they had? sure it gives some guidelines that can all be condensed into about 30 pages but it cannot cover the all the legal detail that is needed to run a nation and decide how to judge when it is not spelled out.
the fact is the Bible came with a complex oral tradition with it that Christians have lost.

You need to understand that Wikipedia is very anti-Christian & anti-Scripture. Anybody can write anything in the wikipedia. Then along come innocent people like you who think wikipedia is truth, & they get side tracked.
The Scripture is perfect as it is.
