whenever i get my hair up... i have to use hairspray... but when i use it... it makes me want to throw up.. i dont kno if im allergic to the hairspray... or if its the smell that makes me sick... I NEED HELP

i dunno really, sounds like you could be. Does it happen when you use anything else? i think that perhaps if you do keep using it you should do like a test or something to see how long you can stand the smell with out being sick. I'm not being disgusting its just the fact that if you are sick then you no that u are allergic, but if your no then u no that there is something you can do to prevent it. You could use a fan or something whilst using the spray?

It all depends. If you have it on your skin then you might but if you don't have any contact with the hairspray on your skin then its the smell of the hairspray. You'll have to more than likely have to switch to a scent free hairspray.

Maybe try a different brand? I'm allergic to Suave hairspray, it doesn't make me wanna hurl, but when I get it on my skin I get mad rash. It's the only hairspay I'm allergic to, but sometimes I just wanna avoid hairspay altogether.
There's other stuff you can put in your hair to make it stay. I use Salon Selectives Control[d] Substance pomade (it's a little green jar that comes in a little green box). It doesn't hold as good as hairspay, but it has good hold for a pomade, and is pretty good for spikey styles.

I think an allergic reaction is much worse than what you describe... it involves itching, getting red eyes, irritation on the skin, hiccups, running nose... or if it is on food (but you don't swallow the foarm, right? :-) )... so, if it is on food, you may really throw it up, or get seriously ill. Hopefully this is not the case.
Throw the damm spray out if it smells so bad, I would say...

you can use it when you have a mask in your mouth & nose .for a minute ,if it is so , then you have allergy ,if it isnot so ,you have allergy because of smell.
