It is not mentioned in the Bible, but the fact is that maturbation and pornography are perverse acts. Read Pastor J's answer. Both acts are not only offensive to God, but they are offensive to your future wife. You are perverting your mind with these things, and they make you into a disturbed person. Masturbation and pornography hinder your relationship with Christ, so it is definitely something to be avoided. Know that you aren't the only person struggling with or the only person who has struggled with this same problem. Confess your deeds to the Lord, and He will help you out. I will pray for you. God bless you!

The act of masturbation in itself is not a sin. Pornography is. So get rid of the porn. God delivered me from a pornography problem when I was saved. Psalm 101 says I will set no evil thing before my eyes. Try to avoid lustful thoughts towards other people when you do it as that is sinful also. Jesus calls lusting after women adultery in our hearts Matthew 5:28. But the act itself is not forbidden in Scripture and that act without the porn and such is much better then giving into temptation to have premmarital sex. You can also pray for the gift of celebacy from God until you are married and He will give it to you. Let Him work this in your life. But don't think you can't be forgiven check out 1 John 1:9 and Romans 8:1. He will forgive you but you really do need to get rid of the porn and such as that is not healthy for you and will give you a wrong view of what sex should be. Trust me it messed me up for a long time, praise God for His healing. God bless and stick with Him. Make sure you're reading your Bible and praying and you'll be ok.

Yes, masturbation is a sin.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches:
2396 Among the sins gravely contrary to chastity are masturbation, fornication, pornography, and homosexual practices.
2352 By masturbation is to be understood the deliberate stimulation of the genital organs in order to derive sexual pleasure. "Both the Magisterium of the Church, in the course of a constant tradition, and the moral sense of the faithful have been in no doubt and have firmly maintained that masturbation is an intrinsically and gravely disordered action." "The deliberate use of the sexual faculty, for whatever reason, outside of marriage is essentially contrary to its purpose." For here sexual pleasure is sought outside of "the sexual relationship which is demanded by the moral order and in which the total meaning of mutual self-giving and human procreation in the context of true love is achieved."
To form an equitable judgment about the subjects' moral responsibility and to guide pastoral action, one must take into account the affective immaturity, force of acquired habit, conditions of anxiety or other psychological or social factors that lessen, if not even reduce to a minimum, moral culpability.
Hope this helps.

this is seen a sin by potential of a few branches of Christianity, i think of. the only bible reference that i understand of is the case of Omar in Genesis. i do no longer understand what verse, sorry. He have been given in hardship with God because of the fact God advised Him to get his spouse pregnant and somewhat he masturbated and "spilled his seed upon the floor." some human beings understand this tale to point do no longer masturbate. Others say, no Omar's sin become disobedience.

There is a prohibition against spilling your seed.
At least, there is such a prohibition in the Torah, and since the Torah is pretty much your Old Testament, I guess this prohibition applies to Christians as well.

It is sinful. It's like having sex with one's self, lustful action. Do you really think the Lord wants to look down from heaven and see you having a good time with yourself? Not to mention its a addicting habit that can lead to worse things.
