Every time I go to update it, it says my product is already up-to-date. Is it possible my anti-virus isn't working properly? I tested it and it caught the eicar test string. I'm just worried/

thats depending on when u last updated the virus defenition, as well as how long the programers will take to make new defenitions

You might have to buy a new version. If it's a 2005 version of course it is going to be up to date, for that year. The catch is that you have to go out and buy a new one each year. I wouldn't go with ez virus though, try Norton it's worked great for me and you can download it from online.

check ur antivirus for last update date. u will find ur antivirus is updated or not. if not then might be ur antivirus is corrupted.
