Myth Busters should investigate the biggest myth of all - god. I remember seeing a program years ago where someone disproved the 'power' of prayer by looking at the lifespan of Kings and Queens of England. The prayer "God save the Queen/King" was estimated to have been repeated over a billion times per monarch, but all the prayers added not a single day to their lifespan. Couldn't Myth Busters do the same to disprove the existance of gods? What do you think?

I think its funny to ask, but its like that one chick said: People have been trying to prove or disprove God's existence for centuries, if not longer, what makes you think 2 out of work scientists can do it in an hour-long show? Oh, and about the "God save the Queen/King" thing, how can you prove what adds or takes away from a lifespan when you have NO CLUE, Earthly or otherwise, when someone is gonna die.

Four reasons-
1) They seem like intelligent men, which would mean that they would not question the existence of their Creator, for if you question the existence of the Creator, you are questioning the existence of the creation- humankind. And it is very apparent that humankind exists.
2) I would hope that they are men of conscience, which would mean that they would not question God's existence.
3) The question you ask is one that people throughout history have asked, and the fact is that there is no "scientific evidence" to disprove the Lord's existence. So, ultimately, MythBusters would be wasting their time.
4) They most likely want a paycheck, and if all of their Christian viewers decide to boycott the show, that is something they most likely won't get.
I will pray for you, that you find the truth and peace of mind.

I think all religions and non-religions have been trying to prove or disprove God for ages. None of them have succeeded, do you really think Myth Busters can do it in an hour long show?

Might be funny if they use dynamite to do it though. Loved the one where they tried blowing the cement off the inside of a cement truck. Break out the big guns!!

I've seen studies that prove the efficacy of prayer. This does not mean necessarily that there is a God, but that there may be value of prayer.

Anyway, the Mythbusters would not be able to disprove God. God is not proveable or disproveable.

Because God is not a myth and cannot be disproved. If you think He can try it using resources besides your opinion and the opinions of others. If you don't believe He exists prove it with hard evidence. You can't.

I think it would be done better, by Geraldo Rivera. He reminds me of a kid, who used to walk up and down the beach, looking for sand castles to kick.

But I do like the Myth Busters too. Especially when the investigated whether it is more gas efficient to drive with my tailgait down, or up. They really dumped a good rural myth there!

Theoretically, there is the possibility that God exists and has absolutely no involvement with anything that would impact human existence.

Therefore, you cannot prove that God doesn't exist. What you would instead be proving is that God doesn't matter to our existence.
