Three Gods. Yes. They go by many names like Larry, Curly and Moe. In most Muslim countries you could not say things like this.
OK here is a serious answer. The Christian Trinity was only adopted as official Christian doctrine after Emperor Constantine convened the Council at Nicaea. There are some Christian Unitarians or monotheists like Muslims. The Trinity concept is logically impossible, linguistically strained and only by suspending logic and reason is one able to believe the concept. Christians get into the "God acts in mysterious ways" when anything makes no rational sense. Then they whip right into the "you gotta have faith" thing. I think a person can believe in God and Jesus as well as Mohamed. The simplicity of some Muslim views is refreshing but the Islam and the contemporary interpretation of the Koran is really bothersome,; barbaric.

Keep in mind that just because something doesn't make sense to you doesn't mean it shouldn't make sense to everyone else.
The Holy Trinity is not a belief in three Gods. It is a belief that One God manifests Himself if Three Beings. The key to the Trinity is understanding that these Three Beings share One Nature; that Nature being God. That is how One God can manifest Himself in Three Beings.
First, you have God the Father. That's pretty easy. Right?
Then you have Jesus Christ, the Son of God - who is "begotten, not made". This is important because, if Jesus was "made", he would have his own nature, and thus, not be Trinitarian in nature. Jesus is "begotten" meaning that Jesus shares the same Divine Nature of the Father.
The Holy Spirit "Proceeds" from the Father and the Son. If the Holy Spirit proceeded from only the Father or the Son, that would mean more than one nature is involved here. But, since God the Father and Jesus the Son share the same Divine Nature, this Nature proceeds from both so that the Holy Spirit also embodies the same Divine Nature.
The Truth is, the Holy Trinity is a mystery. Our human intellect and our language are insufficient to process the Spiritual Mechanics of the Holy Trinty.

What is the "trianity"?Do you mean "Trinity"? Christians don't believe in Gods. We believe in A God. Just one. And the Trinity is Jesus, God, and the holy spirit all wrapped up into one. Its complicated but Jesus IS GOD. They aren't 3 different people. Its just that way.
And yes I believe in it. I am a Christian and no matter what anyone in here says, I believe it. If you want to know more about the Trinity, read your bible. In the book of John, Jesus discusses the ways he proved he was the son of God.
NOTHING in the bible is derived from pagan concepts. Especially not the Trinity.
Jesus isn't logical. Its okay to not be logical. The best things in life like love and faith and Jesus aren't logical. I mean science can try, but can't even begin to explain the wonders that Jesus offers our lives. So yes I would say the Trinity is very complicated. You think how can 3 people be 1? Just because they are. Its wonderful that way. Its just the way God made it. And they aren't people.

Well, yes and no. Yes, because I believe that there is a "godhead" and in it, there are three gods--Our Heavenly Father (God), Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. No, because the trinity, as far as I understand it, says that they are all ONE "person"...I don't believe that. I believe they are all seperate beings. I'd love to continue this conversation, but I have to go, so if you're interested, email me at: just_gemini91@yahoo.com....good luck.
P.S. What do you think?

Trinity is "A three-fold personality existing in one divine being or substance, the union in one God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three infinite co-equal, co-eternal persons as; one God in three persons.
The trinity concept came from PAGANISM-(paganism means no religious beliefs); here are a few sites that will tell you:
http://www.chipublib.org/shamrock/stpatscelebrate.html
http://www.faqfarm.com/Q/Who_was_St._Patrick
There are 3 that protestants claim about the trinity; they're JOHN 14 & 15 and 1JOHN 5:7. To start out 1JOHN 5:7 was never in any of the inspired Greek manuscripts; so this knocks out one. As for John 14 & 15; the Greek word for "helper" is paracletos; one who helps inwhich points to the Holy spirit. In Greek, the word "He" is neuter such as "hand" is feminine whether it is a woman's hand or male's hand. As for the word "paracletos" it is masculine and always require a masculine pronoun. This however doesn't prove personhood as you've noticed.
But as you've noticed, these texts don't prove Jesus is God or the Holy Spirit.
I don't believe in the TRINITY! The Bible texts that I'm going to mention contradict the Trinity teaching.
MATT.12:32 "AND WHOSOEVER SPEAKETH A WORD AGAINST THE SON OF MAN, IT SHALL BE FORGIVEN HIM: BUT WHOSOEVER SPEAKETH AGAINST THE HOLY GHOST, IT SHALL NOT BE FORGIVEN HIM, NEITHER IN THIS WORLD, NEITHER IN THE WORLD TO COME."
JOHN 14:28 "IF YE LOVED ME, YE WOULD REJOICE, BECAUSE I SAID , I GO UNTO THE FATHER: FOR MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I."
1COR.11:3 "BUT I WOULD HAVE YOU KNOW THAT THE HEAD OF EVERY MAN IS CHRIST; & THE HEAD OF THE WOMAN IS THE MAN; AND THE HEAD OF CHRIST IS GOD."
LUKE 18:19 "AND JESUS SAID UNTO HIM, WHY CALLEST THOU ME GOOD? NONE IS GOOD, SAVE ONE, THAT IS, GOD."
****SEVERAL OTHER TEXTS SAY THERE'S ONLY TWO PERSONS:
1COR.1:3; 8:6; 1TIM.1:2; 2:5; GAL.1:3; PHILIPP.1:2; ROM.1:7; 2COR.1:2-3; 1THESS.1:1; 2THESS.1:2; 2TIM.1:2; PHILEMON 1:3; 1PETER 1:3; 2PETER 1:2; 1JOHN 1:3; 2JOHN 1:3.
Now touching on the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit is a power(Luke 1:35) where God and Jesus make their presence known in the hearts and minds of believers(1John 3:24). The believers of God and Jesus will have this love poured on them(Rom.5:5). It will teach them understanding and wisdom of God's Word (John 14:16,17,20,23,26. Jesus had the Holy Spirit in him when he made the lame walk and the deaf to hear and etc. (Luke 5:15-17). God works in our minds to give us strength to overcome (Gen.6:3). Other texts are: John 7:38-39; Rom.8:11,13-14,16 & Psalm 104:30.
Also why I don't believe in the TRINITY is because it says in the KJV that the false church will cast all the truth to the ground (Daniel 8:12). I happen to know this false church because all the world(Matt.7:13) has followed it (Rev.12:9; 13:3,12) except for one church (Acts 20:28).

First its called trinity and not triniaty.
The the question of one god or different gods. Typically a trinity refer to a system of gods in which there is a creator , a preserver and a destroyer. Lots of faith find it simple for then they find it easy to justify things like genocide and calamities.
now do i believe in trinity - well i dont believe in concept of gods. sorry

Think of it like an egg. Theres the shell wich holds the other two parts, the white and the yolk. They are each seperate parts of one egg.
God is the shell, housing the other two parts. Jesus and the Holy Spirit. They are each seperate parts of one Being, hence 3 in 1.

I dont believe in this I am a muslim. The faith of trianity is totally wrong. There is contradiction in this believe. They are three. and again said They are one. This contradiction cause worry. I Think and believe in that God is free from this Niether the jesus is the son of God nor the Mery has any relation with Him. According to our belief God Says in Holy Quaran. Say He is One. Niether He is father of any one and nor He is Son of any one.
My Dear according to my spirtiual teacher. Man's Wisdom can not understand Him that what He is. If you have any question pls email me.
