other than just eating right I need more than just that to lose some weight.And I cannot get out of the chair very easily. thankyou for any answers.

Richard Simmons has an exercise dvd specifically geared for those in wheelchairs. You might find that helpful and you could probably find it on Amazon or ebay.

your best bet is to watch what you eat..
also, work the body that you do have. use your arms.. i know it's hell on the hands, but if you have a regular wheel chair wheel yourself around the block a few extra times and such..
unfortunately, you can't get the normal cardio workout..so you are going to have to use the body you do have to try and get your heart rate going. i don't know if you have a handicapp accessbile pool near you, but if you can get somewhere and swim using just your arms it's a good workout too.

Alrighty then.... well I don't know whats in your area but here I work with people with disabilities and they exercises in the pool. It has advantages check out your local YMCA alot of places have special accommodations for you.
