flirted with and talked to, but the beautiful girl does not. (She is kind and the farthest thing from being conceited.) Believe that the girl is beautiful (think Liz Hurley) She goes home feeling she must be unattractive-otherwise, why would no guy approach her? What are your thoughts?

Perhaps because the beautiful girl is so shy she cant express herself and the guys get bored and move on. You have to get over the shyness, pretend you are talking to your best friend when a guy comes over, talk openly, smile, (if you like the guy) give him some signs, touch is wrist when you are having an animated conversation, if you are at a party, drag him to the dance floor, etc, etc...if you don't give a guy a sign that you are interested, he will surmise that you are not!! and rather than being rejected will just move away.

It is really intimidating for a guy to feel like he has to pull the weight of both of them in a conversation. No guy likes feeling as if he's the only one talking or making conversation, and if a girl appears to be shy, that's the kind of assumption a guy will make. But it can also go the other way...if a girl is extremely confident and outgoing it is really intimidating to feel like you have to come up to her level and be the smart, funny, cool, casual, and confident sort of guy.

Guys are attracted to confidence, as well as a strong sense of self and some wit to boot. If the girl is too shy it might be a turn off or maybe they think she isn't interested. A confident girl who is flirty and sure of herself can be less attractive physically but because of how she handles herself she might be 10x more attractive than a gorgeous girl.

she just isn't out going and assertive enough... personally I feel that if the girl I'm displaying feelings for and flirting with isn't connecting with me on the same level then she's boring and doesn't know what she wants. Notice you said said flirted with and talked to... not that she did any of this back an made the male feel like she was worth his time. She displayed no interest and the interest invested in her.

Guys may be intimidated by her hot looks. If you want to be flirted with start flirting. Make the moves you are waiting for. Don't stand against a wall waiting go out and have fun. if you relax and enjoy guys will float to you to join your party.
