If he's a car buff, loves to work on cars, then some tools perhaps.
Guys love electronic gadgets, so perhaps a new MP3 player, if you can afford it.
But, the best present of all, is going to be you and your love for him. So make sure you get a great card expressing that love.
(And yes folks, I'm giving out the G-rated version of this advice! lol )

You know your boyfriend best, what does he like to do? what is it that you both like to do together? (I mean other than sex!!).
Do you both enjoy going biking, rock climbing, hiking, camping, going to the spa, workouts, golf, para-sailing, vacations...?
Figure it out ...and for your anniversary take a 3 day (Fri, sat, sun) trip to one of the activities together, all expenses paid by you.
It will be memorable, and something he enjoys, and best of all there will be guaranteed sex !!

A SIX MONTH ANNIVERSARY. DON'T GET HIM ANYTHING! IS HE GETTING YOUR SOMETHING? IF HE IS THEN GET HIM SOMETHING. DON'T SCARE HIM OFF. NOW IF IT WAS HIS BIRTHDAY, THEN ONLY YOU KNOW WHAT HE LIKES. BUT MAKE IT SOMETHING UNUSUAL. LIKE I REMEMBER ONCE GIVING A GUY FLOWERS AND A BALLOON. HE WAS LIKE OH WOW.
