It means to deny the obvious power of the holy spirit in a specific matter, or to slanderously attribute to the holy spirit that which seems clearly to be the work of Satanic agents.

When you fall under conviction of the Holy Spirit to accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior and you reject the calling of the Holy spirit then you have blasphemed what his purpose has been in your life - and this is the unforgivable part - because under his leading you rejected Christ Jesus. Many people may be given several chances to accept Jesus Christ, but I've known many that made it so clear they were not going to, that they no longer ever have a tugging in their heart, or that conviction of the Holy Spirit, therefore they have chosen to commit the unpardonable sin of rejecting Christ when he called through the power of the Holy Spirit.

It means...to attribute the work of Holy Spirit to the devil.
If your heart is to love and serve Christ, and you have given your life to Him...even if you were a really bad heathen sinner person before...even if you said things against Holy Spirit...if you can read the Word, if you can hear the Word preached and receive it...don't worry, you have not committed this sin. Isn't God good?

The word blaspheme from dictionary.com:
1. To speak of (God or a sacred entity) in an irreverent, impious manner.
2. To revile; execrate.
It's a damned good thing it's not one of the ten commandments, we'd have to stop all the holy spirit jokes.

The Sacred Spook is just another figment of the Christian imagination. You can't blaspheme that which doesn't exist. And even if it did, so what? What are you gonna do, push it down, kick it, steal its toys and call it a poopyhead? This creature/ being/ god/ whatever supposedly has all the wisdom and power of the universe, so how is it going to be insulted by anything mere humans say or do? Ridiculous notion.

When you are brought up to the antichrist and does not allow the Holy Spirit to speak for you. It's blaspheme to say what (YOU) want to say.

Ah, yes, the "unforgivable sin", basically attributing manifestations of the Holy Spirit to the Devil, is probably the most concise explanation I've ever gotten. Don't worry, I'm sure you've never done it, I don't think I've ever met anyone who has.

It means to violate the First Commandment: Do not take the Lord's name in vain.
One does not use the Lord's name for any reason other than addressing Him in prayer, or referring to Him with reverence.
A common way of violating this rule is using His name with profanity.

that is where you go against the holy spirit. In a sense it is to turn your back on Christ and bad mouth and refute him.
