Show Grooming a sheltie

Go to dog shows and ask the people showing and handling them. some will teach you for a fee, others will do it for free if you work for them. DON'T go to a pet grooming school - you'll be wasting your money. They really don't know much about show grooming!

I don't think any of the pet store groomers would know show grooming...most groomers are pet groomers, not show groomers. If you take your dog to a groomer...be sure to tell them that the dog is going to be shown...most groomers won't touch them unless they show Shelties themself.
Your best bet is to contact Sheltie show breeders and have them teach you.
There's a Paragon school of grooming in Michigan.

Im in southern Michigan go to petco and talk with there groomer or ask the groomer at your vet for some advice
