I am on a low carb diet myself and the best snack is pork skins. I have lost 24lbs. in 3 weeks.

Well you still eat carbs but a high quality type with lotsa fiber. The problem with empty carbs like white rice , bread and most pastas is that the carb is quickly converted to sugar in the body and stored as fat if unused in the day. Also many people eat their largest meals at supper when in fact it should be the smallest as you will be in bed not too long after. Food like Cream of Wheat and Oatmeal are great choices in the morning because its slow release carb energy and your body can use it up by mid-day to early afternoon. Eat your fruits in the mid-mornings and lotsa crunchy veggies in mid afternoon and supper with chicken/turkey/fish for supper! Within a week of this changed eating..you will find you crave the fruits and veggies like you craved fastfoods earlier!
