Our culture predetermines that coveting and lusting with the eyes is simply unavoidable. The issue here is what are your intentions toward this person..if you feel a love and commitment that is headed for a lifetime spent together then in effect you are lusting after your own wife. If you see her not as a sex object but as a person worthy of respect as well as the admiration for her feminine beauty then you are simply doing what comes natural. Have you ever read Song of Solomon? Yeah...desiring your partner is not sinful..however, there is something to be said for modest dress and staying in appropriate venues while spending time together. Even for young unmarried christian couples the temptation is there. Right now everything is geared toward weakening your defenses...girls going around barely dressed letting all their business hang out everywhere, access so easy to porn, condoms and birth control, privacy..both in the parents home and set up as a young adult in dorms and apartments, not to mention the pervasive message that sex and love are synonymous when actually they have nothing to do with each other in the long run. Being single and a christian in this American culture is torture at times...just keep praying, talk to her and confess how you feel, if needs be set up perameters and ask her to dress modestly for your sake...or heck..the best bet is..if you guys are of age...GET MARRIED! What ya waiting for? If you are too young to be marriage minded and are not ready for a commitment..then you shouldn't be dating...that's my opinion though and who am I but a frumpy house frau. God bless you though..cuz you do care and you want to do what's right..just pray, stay in the Word of God and you'll be fine. Love in Christ, ~J~ <>< P.S. Jesus was speaking about adultry...lusting with your eyes for someone else other than the person you are "MARRIED" to...however, if you are lusting after your girlfriend and all 10 of her friends plus and also every other female that crosses your line of vision..well, then..perhaps this verse does apply to you. Catch yourself and get in the habit of stopping cold those thoughts...it can be done..this is called self disapline.

To Mash,
I dont wish to talk about all religions. Since i am a christian, ill talk about what it says. The Bible doesnt ask us to resist temptation but to refrain from sinning. Temptation will follow us everywhere except to the grave. And yes, it is natural to be attracted to a person of the opposite sex. What are you doing with that attraction is the question. Where did you get the information that if everybody followed religions we'd be in AD100. Seriously dude, are you gullible enough to believe that the planet is developing. We are unfortuntely in a time warp to AD100 like it or not. Some time back people used to wear clothes. Today, just like in the days of Adam and Eve, people have started to shed them. You say we're advancing without religion. Ya sure, Im Attila the Hun.
And THE most naive thing you could even think of. Many scientists of yore were serious christians. It was their belief in a creator God that gave them the philosophical base on which to continue experimenting. If i never believed in God, but rather believed that my life was just an accident - WHO CARES. Why shouldnt i just go ahead and live a life of hedonism and freak out instead of doing things that were even risky at times to benefit somebody else. My suggestion - get some reading done before you start on vitriol.
The anwer to the actual question is why do you WANT to look at her breasts. If this is what is keeping you attracted to her, then are you in love with her or just want to satiate your cravings. Would you violate her if she did not think the same way. Methinks you need to really sit down and think about why it is this way. Being a guy, you'd obviously want to look at her breasts, but like i said earlier, what you're doing with this thought is the important thing.

All religions will tell you that its bad, that its a temptation that we should resist but thats all wrong. Its very natural to be sexually attracted to a person of opposite sex. The problem with religion is that it gives broad sermons and is too impractical to follow. If everyone followed religion the world would have been a much worse place -we would all be living in the same way as people lived on AD 100. Everything good that has happened in this world is because of temptations and greed.
I know many people will find is funny but just think about a scientist trying to discover or invent something- isnt that his temptation? A businessmen trying to expand his business- isnt that greed, The temptation to move faster resulted in a wheel and the greed to move even faster resulted in an airplane. We would still be sitting on tree tops and munching wild fruits if God has its ways. Thanks to people who followed the human instincts of Greed and temptations!

That is called lust. There are several verses regarding lust; 1 John 2:16,17, Proverbs 6:25-29, etc. Just look in the back of your Bible under "lust", there are more verses.
Better to be thinking about what is in her head and heart, that is who she really is, the packaging only just that, nothing more.

You're a human, your girlfriend is human. You both are going to have sexual thoughts. You may choose NOT to act on them or you may. Your choice. Last time I looked you were given Free Will. No amount of Bible verses is going to help if you really want to look.

Human nature is accepted everywhere exept in the Christian Bible.
It's natural for you to want to look at your girlfriend in a wanting manner.
There is nothing sinful about it. Afterall, Man created sin. And Christianity created guilt.

If everyone believed what you are saying 70% of us wouldn't be here and the rest would have been killed in religious wars.

Matthew 5:27-32
27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.
