I only weigh 115. I've been cutting down on my food but it doesn't seem to help my stomach. The rest of me is fine.

You apparently have a genetic predisposition for collecting fat around your mid-section. Take a look at your relatives and you probably will find someone else who is like you.

Stomach exercises will not likely make much difference, though it is good to have strong abdominal muscles as they will protect you from have low back problems (a very common problem) So I would not discourage you from stomach exercises, just don't expect the exercises to change much.

Reducing caloric intake is a start (spread small meals over the day so you don't depress your metabolism) but you would do very well to increase aerobic activity. Bicycle riding, swimming, jogging, roller bladding, or any other activity that you do for some time (over an hour at a time) will be helpful in burning off that extra fat.

One last thing is that having extra fat around your mid section is a risk factor for heart disease. So not only do you have an incentive to look better, it is something that will make you healthier too.

Good luck.

Here you are my friend, to get a real answer to your question you should know little bit physiology and anatomy too.

What is fat, that is the excess amount of the calorie stored in the form of fat which is known as adipose tissues. That tissues will look for the place where comparitively inactive at most of the time. So, stomach and butt are the place where it can accumulate. So, naturally the people will get the fat accumulation either on stomach or butts or both the places.

Stomach excercise will not help you to reduce the fat in the stomach. On the other hand if you do regularly the stomach work out it will hamper your low back muscle and you will get back pain.

So, you have to adopt a work out system that will increase your BMR (Basal Maetabolic Rate). So, the time tested method to increase the BMR is the weight training. It will enhance the BMR and ensure your fat loos even if you are at desk job too.

So, you have to combine the weight training with proper cardio work out. You will surely get a healthy body with proper shape.

Though, it will take a bit time to reap the benefit. But, you will be really healthy in all the manner.

If you do like to know more. write me.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Thst is just an area that women tend to store fat. You could try to cut down on carbs, or at least eat whole grains. Are you already on some sort of exercise regime? I have the same problem by the way!

Stomach exercises will help build muscle but will not always burn fat. You need to do cardio to burn fat (run, bicycle, etc.) Really, though, all healthy women will have some amount of fat around their tummy. Don't go overboard.

Exercise and there's no such thing as "spot reducing". You lose it everywhere, not just one place.
